Description

The Athletic Trainer organizes and conducts athletic training programs in the hospital and in outreach programs in the community by providing the knowledge and skills to meet physician, patient, staff, and/or WRMC needs. The athletic trainer evaluates injured athletes at the schools and develops and implements treatment programs to meet the athlete’s needs.  The athletic trainer provides rehabilitation services in the clinic under the supervision of an occupational or physical therapist.

Qualifications

Well qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's Degree in a sports or rehab field, current Athletic Trainer license from the State of Wisconsin, and current certification from the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA).
