Summary:
Supervises the environmental services process in accordance with hospital policy/procedure, infection control guidelines and requirement of accreditation and regulatory agencies.
·         Inspects the physical condition of the hospital; recommends painting, repairs and furnishing for efficient and sanitary space utilization.
·         Supervisor and monitors the work performed by the aides.
·         Supervises furniture moves and room set-up.
·         Maintains equipment in good working condition and ensures the availability of needed supplies.  Conducts research housekeeping technology improvements.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or GED.

Licenses/Certification: None

Experience:

Two years experience in acute care hospital setting.
