Bill and collect for revenue generated from Direct Bill Department to assure DSO’s, gross cash recovery, and accounts receivable percentages remain in goal.
- Account Receivable follow-up via again
- Handle claims corrections and insurance appeals
- Process all paper claims – primary, secondary and tertiary
- Process incoming correspondence
- Process refunds
- Process and handle billing questions from patients, guarantors and field staff
- Work Medicare claims in Medicare system
- Handle ADR requests from assigned Agencies
- Handle special projects as assigned
- Medical Billing
- Customer Service
- Billing software
- CPT and ICD-10 coding
- Excel and Word
- Medicare's DDE system
- High School degree
2+ years of medical billing experience
