Kindred Certified Nursing Assistants are dedicated members of our support staff and an indispensable component of our health care team. Acting as care giver to high acuity patients in a long term acute care hospital setting, you will assist patients with daily activities such as grooming, bathing and feeding. You will also assist our RNs with their duties, including administering patient vitals. As a Restorative Aide you will:
Provides rehabilitation/restorative nursing interventions that help patient’s achieve and maintain their optimal physical, mental, and psychosocial functioning.
The Restorative nursing program focuses on rehabilitation/restorative nursing interventions that promote the resident’s ability to adapt and adjust to living independently and safely in the long term care environment.
A restorative nursing aide is a Certified Nurse Assistant who has received specialized training in the area of restorative care.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Six months experience as a Rehab Tech or Restorative Aide in a long-term care environment preferred.
