Directs performance of routine radiological procedures under the supervision of a radiologist. Responds to daily operations of the department. Maintains a system for reporting results of all radiological studies and the billing procedures associated with them. Responsible for the performance level for all staff in accordance to quality standards and state, local and federal requirements. Responsible for radiology safety program.

Qualifications

National certification by the State or the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT). Minimum of two-years supervisory or managerial experience preferably in an acute care environment. Able to communicate effective through written and verbal means.
