As an Area Manager, Supply Chain Operations you will:

  • Ensure that all medical and non-medical supplies and services critical to the delivery of care to our patients are procured and managed in the most effective and efficient manner possible. 

  • Work closely with the District Director of Supply Chain Operations to ensure that supply chain functions are performed in the following areas within the facilities in their area: contracting, compliance, staffing, budgets, supply/service spend, service delivery, logistics, planning, equipment rental, and capital purchasing.

  • Responsible for leading the planning, development and implementation of area hospital strategic initiatives in Supply Chain Operations including quality, utilization, cost, working capital, day-to-day operations, service and human resource management. 

  • Ensures compliance with established district and national goals and standards. 



Qualifications

As an Area Manager, Supply Chain Operations you will have:

  • Degree in Business Administration or related program preferred.

  • 3 or more years of experience in supply chain management, including managing/leading non-exempt and exempt employees.

  • 5 or more years of experience utilizing an ERP system or other procurement software to manage supply flow across multiple locations.

  • Six Sigma White Belt Certified or higher preferred.

  • 3 or more years working in a retail, manufacturing, or health care environment preferred.

  • 2 or more years of experience in demand planning, SKU rationalization and standardization.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (eg Excel, Word, and SharePoint).

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with various levels across an organization as well as across diverse populations.
