LifePoint Health has an oppurtunity for a Social Media and Marketing Manager to join our Marketing Team!
The Social Media and Marketing Manager leads LifePoint’s business-to-business (B2B) social media strategy across brand page and influencer channels. This role will have the opportunity to manage variety of social media and marketing projects, and will develop content for channels including, but not limited to, LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook. The Manager will work in a highly collaborative setting, partnering closely with the Marketing, Communications, Business Development and Operations Teams to produce strategic content that supports the organization’s larger goals. This position will take ownership of managing initiatives from creative conception to in-market/online through planning, collaboration and creative development.
Essential Functions:
- Conceptualize and deploy social media strategies that support overall business and marketing objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including creative, marketing, business development, executive leadership, as well as external influencers, ad agencies and industry experts to develop engaging social media strategy and content that meets the needs of key stakeholders and the target audience.
- Own and manage all aspects of B2B marketing channels and influencer profiles on LinkedIn, Twitter and other relevant social media channels with close attention to detail (develop content topics, write posts, gain appropriate approvals, schedule, monitor and report out on channel performance).
- Lead social media training programs and develop social media training materials for executives and field facility leadership and operations based on social media best practices and trends.
- Review local social media content for partner facilities nationwide, ensuring all social media content is HIPAA compliant and meets compliance guidelines.
- Work closely with field-level Marketing and Communications teams to identify positive stories and help facilitate corporate-level support to feature stories across social channels to amplify reach.
- Develop meaningful key performance indicators, track performance of social media initiatives, provide regular reporting across campaigns for executive leadership and local facilities, and make recommendations for future improvements to maximize social media reach and engagement.
- Build knowledge of paid-social media initiatives, how it’s planned, the metrics and analytics involved.
- Track competitor social media channels, and report out market analysis and key trends.
- Support a variety of marketing initiatives and special projects including but not limited to white paper development, blog content creation, project management and executive presentations.
- Develop and maintain social media content calendars that are in coordination and support larger marketing initiative calendars.
- Develop and deploy strategic content from concept to completion, including conducting in-depth research and analysis of B2B healthcare topics.
- Track and monitor social media, B2B and healthcare trends; document social media best practices and create resource guides for stakeholders to leverage in social media efforts.
- Serve as a thought leader and subject matter expert to establish platform-specific content benchmarks, KPIs and creative best practices.
- Oversee and develop initiatives from concept through completion including project management, implementation and reporting.
- Monitor SEO and web traffic metrics.

Education:
- Minimum Required: Bachelor’s degree in related field
Experience:
- 3 + years of marketing / social media / B2B experience
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent social media writer/editor with in-depth experience creating content for social media, marketing materials, websites and corporate communications
- Experience with enterprise social media management tools, Sprinklr and HeyOrca experience is a plus
- Self-starter who can operate independently, but provide timely, transparent reporting
- Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment; managing multiple tasks with changing priorities
- Capable of working and providing customer service to field-level contacts in multiple markets and working collaboratively to provide support to drive positive reputational activities
- Strong planning/project management skills
- Understanding of data and analytics, and ability to pull reporting for all levels of leadership
- Knowledge of mass media communication and dissemination, advertising and marketing trends
- Experience leading day-to-day operation of social media platforms
- Employ conceptual, visual and creative thinking to successfully collaborate with subject matter experts, senior executives, graphic artists and website designers
- Experience managing marketing projects from concept to completion
- Expertise in building relationships and networking
- Experience interfacing with multiple teams, departments, executives and partners/teammates in markets across the country
- Social media graphics design experience preferred but not required
- Ability to proactively innovate and improve on processes
- Combine a strategic, business savvy with strong advocacy for the role of social media and building a positive reputation in the communities we serve
- Strong digital marketing experience
