We are recruiting for a Senior Director, Leased Property Accounting to join our Finance Team in Louisville, Kentucky.  This will be a Hybrid position.

Summary:

Directs the accounting assoociated with leases for the Company.  Serves as a technical expert in lease accounting and research.  Responsible for maintaining the lease/sublease database.  Responds to lease issues as necessary or upon request.

Essential Functions:( Those functions that the individual who holds the position must be able to perform unaided or with the assistance of reasonable accommodation).

• Develops and implements policies and procedures to ensure accurate recording and reporting of lease accounting.
• Implement the application of certain accounting policies and procedures promulgated by both internal and external authoritative requirments.
• Maintains the lease/sublease database.  Reviews leases and subleases and identifies key elements to be included in database.
• Supervise staff.

• Knowledgeable in interpreting technical accounting and financial reporting guidance.
• Ability to provide written documentation and conclusions supporting accounting positions that can be complex and judgmental.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or related field.

Licenses/Certification:

• CPA preferred.

Experience:

• 6-10 years accounting and managerial experience.
