We are recruiting for a Senior Director Financial Reporting to join our Financial Reporting Department in Louisville, Kentucky.



Directs the general accounting functions of lease accounting and fixed assets, and the budget process. Serves as a technical expert in accounting research and provides accounting and financial reporting guidance to others in the organization.  Acts as the department liaison with the Company's external auditors.

Essential Functions:

  • Direct the lease accounting department including the new lease accounting standard.

  • Oversee the fixed asset department and the capital expenditure process.

  • Oversee the budget consolidation process.
  • Timely documentation and communication of Company accounting positions and conclusions.

  • Implement the application of certain accounting policies and procedures promulgated by both internal and external authoritative requirements.

  • Assist in identifying and preparing accounting policy updates.

  • Assists with specialized accounting projects related to unique enterprise or line of business level transactions, (I.e., acquisitions, divestitures, restructuring, etc).

  • Coordinate with external auditors on the timely completion of the annual audit. Coordinate review of Company accounting positions and conclusions with external auditors.

  • Oversee SOX compliance.
  • Supervise staff.

  • Strong computer skills.
  • Knowledgeable in interpreting technical accounting and financial reporting guidance.

  • Ability to provide written documentation and conclusions supporting accounting positions that can be complex and judgmental.

  • Ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization.



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related business field.


  • CPA certification preferred.


  • 10-12 years of accounting and managerial experience, including general public accounting
