We are recruiting for a Programmer Analyst Consultant to join our SAPInformation Systems team in Louisville, KY, supporting Human Capital Management (HCM) including Organizational Management.


Major Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Understand Kindred’s Information Systems strategy and how it supports the business strategy.

  • Play a key role in the design of application architecture to support the Information Systems strategy.

  • Use Kindred’s Information Systems standards to apply advanced technology and tools in the analysis, design, development and support of business solutions for  application systems by successfully:

    • Analyzing business requirements.

    • Developing design specifications and test plans to meet business requirements.

    • Implementing applications to meet business requirements.

  • Supporting production applications (on-call problem resolution), as needed.

  • Participate as an effective technical advisor as demonstrated by the ability to mentor others; design and develop effective business solutions; and lead project teams so that all project tasks are completed as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Solid understanding and ERP Human Capital Management experience is preferred.  Including, but not limited to, experience with creating/updating Org Units, Positions, Job Codes, Relationships, Reports To structure and Org Charting.
  • Possess exemplary oral and written communication skills to effectively bridge the gap between developers, users and management.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with others to achieve results.

  • Possess strong analytical and design skills.

  • Self-directed and motivated.

  • Ability to mentor others.

  • Ability to make timely decisions; readily understands complex issues and develop solutions that effectively address problems while managing risk.

  • Ability to understand the business perspective of different functional areas in the organization and has a firm grasp of conditions that affect the organization.

  • Ability to provide strategic direction on the use of technology as it applies to business needs and ensure those solutions fit within the overall Architecture/Vision.

  • Capable of delivering results in all components of the Systems Development Life Cycle for medium-large projects as an individual analyst and as a team member for large-complex projects.


Qualifications

  • Minimum of 6 - 10+ years progressive experience in the Information Technology environment. 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.  MBA is desirable.

  • Programming/Development background a plus.
