Programmer Analyst ConsultantLouisville, Kentucky
We are recruiting for a Programmer Analyst Consultant to join our SAPInformation Systems team in Louisville, KY, supporting Human Capital Management (HCM) including Organizational Management.
Major Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities:
Understand Kindred’s Information Systems strategy and how it supports the business strategy.
Play a key role in the design of application architecture to support the Information Systems strategy.
Use Kindred’s Information Systems standards to apply advanced technology and tools in the analysis, design, development and support of business solutions for application systems by successfully:
Analyzing business requirements.
Developing design specifications and test plans to meet business requirements.
Implementing applications to meet business requirements.
Supporting production applications (on-call problem resolution), as needed.
Participate as an effective technical advisor as demonstrated by the ability to mentor others; design and develop effective business solutions; and lead project teams so that all project tasks are completed as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Solid understanding and ERP Human Capital Management experience is preferred. Including, but not limited to, experience with creating/updating Org Units, Positions, Job Codes, Relationships, Reports To structure and Org Charting.
Possess exemplary oral and written communication skills to effectively bridge the gap between developers, users and management.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with others to achieve results.
Possess strong analytical and design skills.
Self-directed and motivated.
Ability to mentor others.
Ability to make timely decisions; readily understands complex issues and develop solutions that effectively address problems while managing risk.
Ability to understand the business perspective of different functional areas in the organization and has a firm grasp of conditions that affect the organization.
Ability to provide strategic direction on the use of technology as it applies to business needs and ensure those solutions fit within the overall Architecture/Vision.
Capable of delivering results in all components of the Systems Development Life Cycle for medium-large projects as an individual analyst and as a team member for large-complex projects.
Minimum of 6 - 10+ years progressive experience in the Information Technology environment.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred. MBA is desirable.
Programming/Development background a plus.
Depending on candidate’s qualifications, this position may be filled at a different level.
