We are recruiting for a Process Engineer Transformation Consultant to join our Enterprise Transformation Office in Louisville, KY.
 
Position Summary:
 
The Process Engineer is responsible for driving transformative change in the company by leading both strategic, high-impact enterprise improvement initiatives and embedding a program of change management and continuous improvement into the culture of the organization. The position is part of the Enterprise Transformation Office (ETO) - a small, dedicated team focused on driving change initiatives and developing a dynamic change culture in order to enable the successful execution of corporate strategies. The position requires direct interaction with the company's Executive Management, senior leaders, and other stakeholders from across the organization to identify problems and create and implement impactful solutions to the organization's most challenging issues.
 
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Execution of strategic, high-impact, enterprise improvement initiatives chosen by Executive Management from across the business divisions. For these initiatives the position requires working collaboratively with team members to:
    • Drive best practice problem-solving approaches to define problem sets and hypothesis, gather and synthesize data, and then design and implement solutions with measurable impact.
    • Deliver consultation and collaborative thought-leadership with impacted functions to ensure success of initiatives. Act as a thought leader in a 'data driven' environment driving data-based decision making across the enterprise.
    • Lead cross-functional teams working on Enterprise Transformation Initiatives that have senior executive and Board of Directors (BOD) visibility.
    • Work across multiple functions to design and implement innovative processes to achieve project objectives.
    • Design and deliver clear metrics to measure the success of the project or initiative.
    • Deliver projects on time and on budget, navigating organizational challenges and proactively driving business results.
    • Exercise formal and informal influence to impact key decisions to drive effective execution and results. Engage appropriate leadership when needed.
    • Build strong business relationships across the enterprise, understanding and responding to business needs and opportunities to add value.
  • Create and implement a program that builds a culture of change management behaviors and continuous improvement into the organization. As part of the ETO, the position will:
    • Develop the change management behaviors and continuous improvement approach to embed within all functions in the organization
    • Develop and implement the coordinating interactions and mechanisms to rollout the approach to all aspects of the organization including, but not limited to:
      • Communicating and training the organization on the approach,
      • Facilitating workshops,
      • Aligning and embedding the approach in all teams involved in ETO Initiatives.
  • Any other duties as deemed necessary by the ETO leader
Supervisory Responsibilities:
  • The position will not have direct reporting responsibilities but will work as part of a team.
  • Leadership of stakeholders in the execution of targeted initiatives will be required.  This includes mentoring, training, and guiding Core Transformation Program teams.
  • The position will require significant independent initiative and a positive attitude.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen; project experience working with large data sets to identify meaningful insights
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with experience communicating to senior management
  • Ability to build collaborative, cross-functional networks.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and on budget
  • Highly proficient in Visio, Word, Excel (especially pivot tables), Access and PowerPoint

    Travel:

    • Travel may be required (approximately 10-20%) based on assigned initiatives.

     

     


    Qualifications

    Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience in healthcare industry experience required. Management or internal consulting combined with operational experience, is ideal
    • 5+ years formal Process Improvement project experience required
    • 5+ years Program/Project Management experience required, including the delivery of large-scale cross-functional Programs

    Education:

    • MBA or other advance degree a plus

    Certifications and Licenses:

    • LEAN Six Sigma Black Belt required
