We are recruiting for a Manager, Quality Performance to join our RehabCare Division.  This position can be based in the Northeast part of the US.   

 

Job Summary:

Under the supervision of the Director of Quality, the Manager will provide ongoing support and guidance for assigned operators, clinicians and field leadership for quality and compliance with Federal, State and Local regulatory and Kindred requirements related to quality of care provision, and clinical/medical record documentation integrity. Implements and provides ongoing training of clinical programs.  Under the guidance of the DQ, the manager will support clinical excellence by providing ongoing field support to staff therapists.

 

Essential Functions:(Those functions that the individual who holds the position must be able to perform unaided or with the assistance of reasonable accommodation).

Under supervision of the Director of Quality, Manager will:   

  • Proactively support operations for a specified customer focusing on quality clinical care and programming.

  • Support the need for clinical program development and supports the development and implementation of that programming promoting standardization and best practice.

  • Support training needs and provide training to staff therapists as necessary.

  • Provide relevant education to company teams and customers. Conducts training programs using distance learning and on-site programs.

  • Provide training in policies and procedures as related to provision of rehabilitation services.

  • Perform other tasks as assigned.   

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities/Expectations:

  • Knowledge of Long Term Care, Medicare and Medicaid regulations and standards and up to date knowledge of evidenced based clinical practice.

  • Frequent use of computer systems.

  • Travel frequently, approximately 60-75% of time.

  • Able to teach/train new information.

  • Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.

  • Support in developing and conducting training programs.

  • Knowledgeable of current regulatory environment and ability to process and train new regulations.

  • Maintains best practice knowledge of new clinical developments.

  • Working knowledge of all rehab disciplines.

  • Excellent documentation skills.

  • Knowledge of Policies & Procedures related to providing rehabilitation services.

  • Must read, write and speak fluent English.
  • Must have good and regular attendance.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications


·Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, OT or PT. Master's degree is   required for Speech Therapy.CRRN required for nursing.


·Licensed by or eligible for licensure in respective home state.


·A minimum of five (5) years clinical experience. Minimum of five (5) years in Post Acute Care. Minimum of two (2) years of leadership experience.


Depending on a candidate’s qualifications, this position may be filled at a different level.
