ScionHealth is recruiting for a Manager, Business Integrity Partner (BIP) to support our Ethics and Compliance team. This role sits within our corporate Legal team. Remote candidates will be considered for this role.
Summary:
The Manager, Business Integrity Partner (BIP) supports the Ethics and Compliance team in promoting a culture of Ethics and Compliance by managing the intake of all potential compliance concerns; overseeing other critical ethics and compliance processes (e.g., conflict of interest and exclusion screening); and leveraging business insights to monitor the quality and timeliness of all compliance matter investigations.
Essential Functions:
An individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Proactively monitors the Ethics and Compliance Speak Up line and inbox to assess, triage, and assign matters to lead investigators for timely handling.
- Reviews business insights for trends and reports out to the BIP team and other Ethics & Compliance leadership team members.
- Conducts quality assurance to ensure comprehensive, contemporaneous investigation documentation and timely resolution. Provides reporting to the Ethics and Compliance leadership team routinely and upon request.
- Assists in formalizing, enhancing, and managing the enterprise conflict of interest process.
- Monitors exclusion screening process and investigates potential matches identified by the enterprise exclusion screening vendor.
- Escalates high risk concerns to the appropriate leadership team members for input and direction.
- Establishes communication protocols to support the Speak Up culture driven by ScionHealth’s values.

- Serves both internal and external stakeholders including colleagues, patients, contractors, and vendors.
- Exhibits a basic awareness [or greater understanding] of healthcare regulatory and compliance (e.g., Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, EMTALA, HIPAA, Medicare and Medicaid billing requirements, etc.).

- A skilled communicator with a client-focused mindset – Exercises competence, service, and empathy in interactions with stakeholders to instill confidence in ScionHealth’s Ethics and Compliance function.
- A critical thinker with solid instincts – Exercises sound judgement and strategic reasoning when evaluating potential compliance concerns and determining appropriate courses of action.
- A creative, solution-minded collaborator – Willing to roll up his or her sleeves to assess a situation, work with others, and determine the best courses of action to reach a solution that is optimal for the business. Not one to shy away from a challenge.
- A project manager who uses risk to define priorities – Demonstrated experience identifying and depending on risk insights to make decisions, drive escalation points, and define focus areas.
- A tech-enabled data storyteller: Experienced in leveraging technology to enhance performance and demonstrate key trends that can be used to drive programmatic efforts and manage business risks.
- Approximate percent of time required to travel: 20%
Qualifications:
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of relevant experience required.
Licenses/Certification:
- Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional (CCEP), Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) are preferred
Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in compliance, healthcare analytics, business, legal services, clinical risk, or another related field.
Depending on a candidate’s experience this position may be offered at a different level
