Description

We are recruiting for an Executive Desktop Consultant to join our Information Systems Team.

Summary:

Provides comprehensive information and technology solutions for Kindred’s executive community.  Provides 24/7 hardware, software, and systems support for Kindred executives, and is responsible for proactive planning, assessment of executive needs, and interaction with other technical IT teams for product and technology resolutions.

Tasks:

  • Provides immediate resolution of all technology problems experienced by the Kindred executive community.
  • Provides 24/7 software, hardware, and home network installations and support for executives, as well as for the equipment at the corporate airport hangar.  Trains executives to fully utilize installed and supported technology tools. 
  • Addresses, escalates, and guides the progress of executive requests for customized applications with exceptional attention to follow-through.
  • Creates and maintains documentation as it pertains to the data equipment, both in house and offiste, of the executive community.
  • Performs independent and ongoing analysis of opportunities to improve senior executive effectiveness through use of technology and information solutions.
  • Identifies, prioritizes, coordinates, and schedules daily activities for the Executive Support Assistant/Backup.  Motivates the team and stakeholders to take action without direct authority.
  • Chairs quarterly executive support meetings held periodically to develop the personal computing skills of executives’ administrative assistants.
  • Oversees the successful completion of key corporate meetings in the main conference center.
  • Oversees video conference meetings, and works with the appropriate vendors to ensure that the equipment is in proper working order.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Expert knowledge of software, hardware, systems, and applications used by Kindred executives. 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve related problems.
  • Able to interact effectively with Executive and all other levels of Kindred employees.
  • Able to work efficiently on multiple tasks and projects at any given time.

Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred.

Licenses/Certification

  • CompTIA, current computer operating systems, ITIL certifications, and/or other professional certifications related to Essential Functions preferred.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in a customer support environment with proven desktop, technical and training skills, including experience supporting executive level.

Depending on candidate’s qualifications we may fill this at a different level.
