We are recruiting for a Director, Finance to join our Human Resources Department in Louisville, Kentucky.
Oversees and directs the incentive compensation calculation and the budgeting related to the HR, Compensation and Benefits Finance and Accounting departments. Responsible for the monthly reconciliation of G/L accounts, management reporting, and other accounting functions as part of the internal control framework. Advises, coaches and directs team members to ensure customer satisfaction and achieved business results.
Serves as the primary lead employee responsible for the timely delivery of the Annual Forcast and Annual Budget for the HR Departments and HR Shared Service Departments.
Advises and contributes to the HR annual operating/capital budgets.
Provides detailed guidance to ensure the budget system design and methodologies are understood and are consistent with goals.
Works closely with Division and Support Center leadership in the development of incentive compensation targets.
Prepares quarterly and year-end incentive compensation achievement calculations for discussion with leadership. Ensures proper accounting and financial analysis of incentive compensation.
Suports the Senior Director in developing annual projections for the upcoming fiscal year (incentive compensation and HR shared services).
Able to consolidate and summarize large amounts of data that is utilized in the preparation and calculation of incentive compensation
Performs monthly reconciliation for incentive compensation general ledger accounts.
Computer proficiency with advanced knowledge of Excel, and general knowledge of network infrastructure.
Very strong attention to detail and organizational skills required
Appropriate accounting and financial analysis skills

Ability to work idenpedently and maintain strong communication skills. Must be able to partner and communicate well with others while maintaining a stringent level of discretion
Ability to simplify and present complex financial topics to diverse audiences
- Must have good and regular attendance.
Approximate percent of time required to travel: 10
Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience requirement.
- CPA preferred
Proven successful managerial skills with directing/supporting management and staff in complex business situations with minimal guidance
Minimum of 5 years current experience in budgeting, and financial analysis.
Depending on a candidate’s qualifications, this position may be filled at a different level.
