We are recruiting for a Director, Creative Services to join our Communications team. This can be a remote position.
Summary:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-oriented and self-starting Director of Creative Services! The Director of Creative Services will develop creative design and branding solutions and translate them through a variety of channels and platforms to meet specific business needs, support revenue-generating activities, and effectively communicate our purpose and abmition. The Director will establish standards and maintain the integrity of our brands in all internal and external representations of the organization. This position will move initiatives from creative conception to in-market through planning, collaboration, research, and creative development.

Essential Functions:
- You'll be a working leader, generating your own ideas and experiences while inspiring your team (and external partners) to do the same.
- You'll oversee dozens of projects, maintaining high level of accuracy, quality, and impact across all.
- You'll translate marketing objectives into strategically sound ideas and manage the creative process from concept to completion.
- You'll oversee/partner with a diverse creative team, with broad responsibility for the design and development of the visual, tone, and aesthetic of marketing campaigns.
- Create the vision of the campaign and collaborate with copywriters, art directors, designers and account service to bring it to life.
- Lead the work into fresh creative territories by making ideas compelling, relevant, and desirable to our audiences.
- Lead effective client presentations that create excitement and demonstrate how the creative delivers on the strategy.
- Be a steward and ensure compliance of the dozens of brands within our diverse portfolio; including brand guidelines, application of the brand architecture, tone/voice/language and visual identities.
- Leads the conceptualization, design, approval process, and production of internal and external materials, including but not limited to sales collaterals, print and electronic ads, brochures, flyers, digital ads, video scripts/shots and special event materials.
- Art-directs photo and video shoots to align with project-specific creative approach and effectively express intended messaging to consumers. Maintains DAM.
- Manages the selection and design of promotional items, awards, and gifts.
- Provides graphic support for all websites and other digital platforms.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent writing and presentation skills
- Proficient at Microsoft products, ie. Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Effective communicator and collaborator
- Excellent project management skills; ability to manage multiple deadlines and plan asset timelines accordingly
- Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment; effectively managing multiple tasks with changing priorities
- Ability to work on project teams
- Capable of working independently and delivering appropriate and timely feedback to management and team members as required.
- Deep understanding of user interface, application, mobile and responsive design
- Ability to develop strong client relationships to establish a level of trust to help sell creative
- Strong collaboration skills and track record of acting as an open and willing resource to team members in assessing ideas and directions
- Detail-oriented manager who can navigate a large organization to execute under tight deadlines
- An exceptional communicator who knows when to stand your ground and when to compromise.
- Innovate and improve on processes and deliverables to continually set new standards
- Display advanced skill at developing wireframes, user stories and journeys, and prototypes optimized for devices and contexts
- Demonstrate excellent public speaking, presentation, and listening skills, with and ability to own the room
- Combine a strategic, business savvy with strong advocacy for experience design
- Inspire those who you lead to elevate their craft and thinking
- Approximate percent of time required to travel: 5% or less
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required
Experience:
- 10+ years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years of experience as a Creative or Associate Creative Director with an agency/firm
- Strong portfolio demonstrating your innovative work across multiple channels
- Healthcare background preferred but not required
Depending on candidate’s qulifications, we may fill this at a different level.
