Data Warehouse Programmer Analyst - RemoteLouisville, Kentucky
LifePoint is currently seeking an ETL developer to join our data warehouse department!
POSITION SUMMARY:
In this role, you will use your knowledge of data warehousing and architecture to develop ETL solutions and help automate our data extraction, transformation and loading processes. You will collaborate with stakeholders to determine the data requirements to support our business processes and outline these requirements through data modeling.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Develop and implement ETL solutions, updating the architecture of our databases as necessary.
- Develop or update SQL queries and scripts
- Extract, transform, and load data from numerous source systems (SQL, flat files, web service) to SAP BW.
- Troubleshoot and resolve reported issues with data in the data warehouse.
- Work with business stakeholders to assist with data modeling, or outlining the data requirements to support our business processes
- Strong organizational skills: ability to adapt and reprioritize workload as business priorities shift.
- Ability to analyze large datasets
- Demonstrates a basic level of working knowledge with IS methodologies and processes (i.e. Project Life Cycle, System Development Life Cycle and IS Change Management process).
- Test databases and troubleshoot any issues
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Information:
- Position serves both Corporate and hospital-based employees and contractors.
- Has access to and / or works with sensitive and / or confidential information.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
- Experience with SAP BW a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile approaches to development a plus.

Works in well-lit, ventilated and climate controlled office environment with routine office equipment; some equipment has moving mechanical parts.

Noise level in the work environment is typical for an office and/or hospital environment.
Minimum overnight travel (up to 10%) by land and/or air.
QualificationsEducation:
Bachelor's Degree in computer science related field.
Experience:
5+ years with SQL/relational databases
