We are recruiting for a Credentialing Coordinator to join our Kindred Rehabilitation Services Division in St. Louis, MO.

Essential Functions
  • Leads, coordinates, and monitors the review and analysis of practitioner credentialing applications and accompanying documents to ensure applicant eligibility.
  • Completes credentialing registration with required organizations and databases for each therapist, as well as completes all relevant updates and re-attestations to maintain credentialing status within required deadlines.
  • Daily communication via phone and email with field personnel, area managers, and healthcare organizations or insurances including but not limited to: answering questions, resolving problems or troubleshooting, and general training on policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s degree or; Associate’s degree plus 1 year of professional office experience or; High school diploma or GED and 3 years professional office experience.

  • Intermediate level of knowledge of Word and Excel.

  • Professional office experience – may come from a variety of areas, but a background in healthcare is preferred.

Depending on a candidate’s qualifications, this position may be filled at a different level.
