Behavioral Health Marketing and Communications ManagerLouisville, Kentucky
This is a Contract Position for our Support Center in Louisville, Kentucky.
The Marketing and Communications Manager primarily supports the Kindred Behavioral Health (KBH) Division’s marketing and communications department by managing projects from start to finish. The role may also support other lines of business within Kindred Healthcare from time to time. The Marketing and Communications Manager will manage a variety of marketing and communications projects, and develop content for KBH channels including, but not limited to, website, digital and traditional advertising, social media, brand partnerships, company profiles, blog, e-newsletter and sales materials. The role also will require occasional internal communications support related to these efforts. The Marketing and Communications Manager gathers information from internal and external sources to guide and inform this work.
Assist in managing marketing strategy and advertising campaigns for Kindred Behavioral Health (KBH)
Help direct lead management strategies to establish KBH as a thought leader in the industry, increase the KBH brand top of mind awareness/preference and provide the sales team with interested and qualified leads.
Identify areas of innovation and opportunity for both B2C and B2B marketing and advertising efforts. Learn, understand and explore emerging trends, technologies and best practices in digital strategy and execution.
Collaborate with internal teams, including creative, social media, advertising, sales, as well as external influencers and industry experts to produce relevant content that meets the needs of key stakeholders and the target audience.
Partner with the Directors of Marketing and Communications to produce content for KBH’s integrated marketing campaigns and promotions across social media, web, and email platforms.
Provide assistance with a variety of marketing projects including events, print advertising, multi-media advertising, branded merchandise and other projects as assigned.
Develop and maintain a content calendar for marketing channels including the blog, social media, paid media and email communications.
Write engaging B2B focused blog content on an ongoing basis to support and promote Kindred and to attract site visitors through search, social media and email subscribers.
Develop strategic white paper content from concept to completion, including conducting in-depth research and analysis of B2B healthcare topics.
Document marketing best practices and create resource guides for stakeholders to leverage in marketing efforts.
Serve as a thought leader and subject matter expert to establish platform-specific content benchmarks, KPIs and creative best practices.
Support business development team on B2B requests, including pitch deck, leave behind, white papers and other collateral.
Oversee and develop initiatives from concept through completion including project management, implementation and reporting.
Partner with external vendors to create and make materials available for stakeholders and field sites. Conduct evaluations of these partners, as needed, to ensure we maintain efficient and effective vendor partners.

- Coordinated planning/project planning skills
Knowledge of mass media communication and dissemination, advertising and marketing trends
Employ conceptual, visual and creative thinking to successfully collaborate with subject matter experts, senior executives, graphic artists and website designers
Experience in taking marketing projects from concept to completion – including coordinating with printers and vendors

Healthcare experience a plus
- B2B Marketing / Communications experience a plus
- Minimum Required: Bachelor’s degree in related field
- 3 + years of marketing / communications experience
- Experience in project management, advertising, and marketing campaigns
