LifePoint Health is recruiting for an AVP Implementation Services to join our team! This is a hybrid position in Louisville, KY.
Responsible for strategic planning and tactical execution of all facets within the Information Technology Solutions Implementation Services department.  Contributes to the achievement of LifePoint’s vision, Divisional strategies, and Information Technology Solutions (ITS) goals in order to achieve company success.

Essential Functions:

  • Provides necessary feedback and justification to ITS Executive Management concerning system improvements, best practices, and solutions to ongoing implementation and installation initiatives.
  • Develop and manage implementation work plans defining vision, deliverables, resource types and timelines.
  • Conducts periodic site visits to multiple divisions and facilities to ensure optimal customer satisfaction.
  • Ensures the department is well aligned with divisional growth goals and future strategies.
  • Develops, coaches, and motivates direct reports to lead by example, enabling effective performance, career growth and retention.
  • Establishes effective strategic relationships with all lines of business executives, ITS Departments, and external vendors to ensure delivery of objectives.
  • Directs and supports the continuous review and forecasting of departmental budget and spending.
  • Establishes an environment for continuous improvement and adopts a best practices culture in order to produce high performance teams.
  • Ensures timely escalation of implementation and installation issues in accordance with departmental protocols.  Also utilizes solutions for future implementation and installation projects.
  • Monitors healthcare industry trends and identifies emerging technologies and best practices.

  • Flexibility to travel up to 20% of the time required.



  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field required.


  • At least 15 years departmental management experience required.
  • 10 years solid project management experience with exceptional customer service track record.
  • A minimum of 8 years experience working in an implementation environment.
