Description

Texas Health Resource and Kindred Healthcare.  It is a 36-bed rehabilitation hospital serve patients recovering from strokes and other long-term illnesses or injuries and feature specialized clinical programs.

Texas Rehabilitation-Keller Hospital’s mission is to deliver comprehensive, efficient medical rehabilitation to persons with disabling conditions in order to provide them the opportunity to achieve the highest attainable level of functional improvement. Specialty programs include stroke rehabilitation, brain injury rehab, orthopedic physical therapy, and amputation treatment.

As a clinical liaison

  • Assist and coordinate in-take and pre-admission screening process.
  • Perform on-site (typically in referring facility) clinical judgment to determined appropriateness of patient for admission.
  • Communicates to patients and families rehabilitation and facility options. Communicates to patients determined appropriate for admission the patient’s expectations and requirements for participation.
  • Secures information relating to patients resources and benefits.
  • Completes face to face, in-service education contacts to physicians. And face-to-face, in-service educational contacts to case managers, and other professionals.
  • Performs market analysis, market research and development and implementation of marketing and business plans.
  • Assists in developing the annual market plan for the facility.
  • Develops marketing plans for assigned programs, which includes market analysis and financial feasibility studies.
  • Assists the various departments of the facility with new business and marketing plans.
  • Continuously monitors the effectiveness of new and existing marketing plans.

Qualifications

Education:

College degree required.

Licenses/Certification:

Valid driver’s license.

Clinical Licensure preferred.  (RN/ LPN/ PT/OT)

Experience: 

Two years of former marketing/sales experience.

Formal Sales Training.

Experience:

2+ years demonstrated full life cycle sales experience (B2B and/or DTC) from lead generation, educating the client, persistent follow up and follow through on all leads, issues and success stories.

Strong preference given to candidates who have previously operating in the sales function of a medical device, institutional pharmaceutical or healthcare setting company.

Consideration will be given to those with prior Durable Medical Equipment and /or Home Health and /or Hospice.

Previously demonstrated experience working in a clinical setting where they were directly involved with patient diagnosis and/or assessing acuity for complex patients/residents.
