The goal of inpatient rehabilitation is to help your patients live as independently as possible through specialized treatment programs.

All of our rehabilitation hospitals feature care provided by an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team committed to helping patients progress to recovery. Our care is designed to help patients improve abilities and return to a more normal life.
As a Wellness Center Coordinator you will:
Responsible for developing and providing structured health promotion/wellness and fitness programming within a RehabCare Certified Program and following Rehab Care’s guidelines, and philosophies consistent with the position’s qualifications, professional practices, and ethical standards.
Develops relationships with the site’s/community’s residents/customers and staff to promote participation in wellness activities.
- Demonstrate accountability for and contribution to program development, quality improvement, problem solving and program flexibility.
Manage fitness center including opening and closing duties, equipment maintenance and repair, maintain attendance records and other duties that contribute to fitness center’s success.
Lead safe and effective group exercise classes with a focus on maintaining optimal class attendance and maximal client fitness results.
Provide regular functional fitness screens, including a follow-up plan and report.
Bachelor’s degree required in exercise science, health promotion, kinesiology, or other related field.
Personal training certification preferred.
Group exercise certification preferred.
Experience with older adults is preferred.
