As the most acute level of care in Kindred's continuum, our transitional care hospitals offer the same critical care patients receive in a traditional hospital or intensive care unit, but for an extended recovery period. Our Registered Nurses play a vital role in the recovery process for chronic, critically ill and medically complex patients.
As a Registered Nurse / RN within our Subacute Unit you will:
Maintain the standard of nursing care and implements policies and procedures of the hospital and nursing department.
Document patient admission assessment and reassessments, patient care plans and other pertinent information, completely in the patient’s medical record according to nursing standards and policies.
Perform assessment on all patients on admission and reassessnents as per policy. Makes referrals to other disciplines based on assessment.
Develop nursing care plan of assigned patient on admission, updates plan of care as needed and ensures plan of care is coordinated with patient, family, and other members of the team.
As aRegistered Nurse / RNwithin our Subacute Unit you will have:
Graduation from an accredited Bachelors of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program.
Current state licensure as Registered Nurse.
BCLS certification. ACLS preferred.
Minimum six months’ Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting preferred.
