Medical Technologist Full Time

starting rates 30.00/hr up to 44.58/hr    10K Sign on bonus 

hourly rate determined based on years of experience on above scale

As our most acute level of care, Kindred’s transitional care hospitals offer the same critical care patients receive in a traditional hospital or intensive care unit, but for an extended recovery period. Our clinicians play a vital role in the recovery process for chronic, critically ill and medically complex patients.

As a Medical Technologist you will:

• Performs analyses in hematology, chemistry urinalysis, coagulation, blood bank and microbiology according to expected performance standards.

As a Medical Technologist you will have:

• B.A / B.S. or equivalent in Medical Technology or related clinical field.
• Valid state Clinical Lab Scientist license.
• 1-2 years’ experience in clinical laboratory.

• ASCP certification preferred
• Blood Banking experience required; has an on-call component for the week the Technologist is schedule in Blood Bank.
• Weekend and holiday coverage rotation as part of the schedule
• Lab staff works 8-hour shifts, scheduled between 7am – 5pm depending on which department they are assigned to
