Description

The Imaging Systems Administrator serves as a key onsite IT resource for implementation and support of medical imaging applications at St. Francis Hospital. Primary responsibilities include, administering and supporting VNA, PACS, and technical medical imaging interfaces and related technologies (e.g., voice recognition), supporting outpatient medical imaging, and providing advanced support as an enterprise medical imaging subject matter expert to resolve incidents or fulfill requests received from the Service Desk or other service resources. The Imaging Systems Administrator ensures system design, interface functionality, and clinical processes are coordinated and functioning effectively. This individual performs maintenance, including upgrades, and training support for medical imaging applications and related technologies.

Qualifications

Minimum Education
X High School Diploma X Required
X Bachelor's degree X Preferred


Minimum Work Experience
X 2 years experience in medical software systems
X 2 years experience supporting computer-based medical imaging applications preferred

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must beable to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Requires medical imaging operations andprocess understanding. Understanding of clinical imaging systems and workflow. Demonstrated ability toestablish and build strong relationships across a broad range of personality types. Demonstrated ability tocommunicate effectively with clinical and information technology personnel verbally and in writing.Demonstrated advanced computer skills

Minimum Salary: $30.0

Maximum Salary: $33.0
