Summary:
Sets objectives, develops plans, staffs, and directs activities of assigned departments/areas of responsibility.  Assists hospital's senior leader in the operation of the hospital.  May assume administrative responsibility for the hospital in the absence of the hospital senior leader.


Qualifications

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelors degree in healthcare administration, business administration, finance, or clinical specialty.

Masters degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or clinical specialty preferred.

Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may substitute for education requirements.

Licenses/Certification:

Healthcare professional licensure preferred.

Experience:

Minimum two years in health care administration/management.

Minimum two years experience in facility operations management, human resources management, and/or finance.

Minimum two years clinical experience preferred.

Graduate level education may substitute on a year-to-year basis for the required experience.
