Kindred Behavioral Health partners with hospitals and health systems to build or optimize behavioral health programs and best serve the behavioral health needs of patients in your community. With this partnership we are seeking a physician to serve as the Medical Director at Talas Habor in Bull Head City, Arizona.
This position is an Independent Contractor role that will carry an inpatient census and have the option to do so via telemedicine. This position may have responsibility for PHP and IOP patients in additional to inpatient case load. Medical Director will provide both clinical and administrative oversight of physicians and advanced practice providers. This position will lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary treatment teams, lead meetings 3-5 times a week, as well as complete psychiatric evaluations on assigned patients and see patients face to face on weekdays for medication management.
As the Medical Director, you must:
- Have a Medical Doctorate or Doctorate of Osteopathy;
- Hold or be eligible for Medical Licensure in the State of Texas;
- Be Board Certified in General Psychiatry; and
- Have residency training in Adult Psychiatry.
