Summary:
Upholds the integrity of the department by following the established policies and procedures, standards, and departmental objectives and goals; can perform all functions including but not limited to:record completion, transmission, indexing, abstracting, research, filing storage, retrieval, maintenance and release of information.
Qualifications:
Education: Preferably a high school graduate with at least 2 years of experience in a medical record department.
Licensure: None required
Experience: Must have some knowledge of medical terminology and computer literacy.Must have the ability to communicate effectively in English through written and verbal means.
