We employ and provide care to people from all walks of life. As an organization, we are committed to promoting healing, providing hope, preserving dignity and producing value with an inclusive workforce in which diversity is leveraged, respected, and reflective of the patients, family members, customers and team members we serve.

Our Mission:

To help patients reach their highest potential for health and healing with intensive medical and rehabilitative care through a compassionate patient experience. At the same time, we ensure that the potential of every team member is maximized and that they are an engaged and valued member of a workforce that mirrors the diverse population we serve. We are committed to respecting individuality to create the team, and we want all Kindred team members to feel empowered to share their experiences and take pride in who they are.

Key Themes Vital to Our Mission

  • Diversity

Diversity encompasses all of the ways that human beings are both different and similar.

  • Equity

Equity is the quality of being fair or impartial. To improve equity is to promote justice, impartiality and fairness within the procedures, processes and distribution of resources by institutions or systems.

  • Inclusion

Inclusion is leveraging diversity to create a fair, equitable, healthy and high-performing organization.

Better Connections & Relationships

Better Connections & Relationships

Inclusion inevitably leads to better connections among employees, which leads to stronger connections with patients and their family members. By intentionally building relationships of trust and respect within our organization between managers and employees and employees and their peers, we are able to serve our patients with health equity.

The end result is a fair, equitable, healthy and high-performing organization where employees and patients feel accepted and respected and are able to better connect with their surroundings and each other.
